AT 240 is a safety quick coupling for compressed air with 2-stage disconnection. Suitable for connection with plugs having an European profile DN 7.4. It allows quick connection and disconnection of a gun, hose or pneumatic tool to the compressed air network. Robust and handy, it is ideal in industrial and professional environments: workshops, metalwork, carpentry, manufacturing industry.

Features

Safety Discharge Function: AT 240 is designed with a two-step: two-movement safety discharge function. Before release, pressure is discharged, eliminating the whip effect, which is harmful to the operator, and reducing the noise of disconnection. This also prevents accidental release of the coupling.
Ergonomic: The coupling is designedto allow one-handed operation of itself. Connection and disconnection require very little force.
Shock-resistant: Made of high-performance plastic material; resists accidental drops or shocks. AT240 is very light and easy to handle. The body is made of non-scratch plastic material
Corrosion-resistant: Internal sealing parts are made of stainless steel: resistant to corrosion and mechanical wear.
Lubricant-free: The coupling is constructed without lubricants: the risk of contamination of compressed air is thus limited.
Leak-free: The sealing mechanism ensures that there is no leakage between the plug and the coupling. On the male connection thread, it presents one-ring sealing: there is no need to apply Teflon on the thread.
Complies with ISO4414 and built according to European pressure equipment guidelines.
