Installation Guide for Electric Pump AP 40L with Anti-Siphon


Welcome to our detailed guide to successfully install your new AP 40L electric pump with anti-siphon. This device is designed to offer easy and safe transfer of liquids from drums, ideal for liquids such as water, antifreeze, diesel and oil. Below, you will find precise information on what the kit includes and how to assemble the pump correctly. 

 

Kit contains

  • Pump Body with Anti-Siphon System: Lightweight, only 4 kg, it ensures easy installation.
  • 2 Stainless Steel Clamps: Designed to withstand corrosion, they ensure a solid fixation.
  • Telescopic Suction Tube: Equipped with an integrated filter. Height adjustable (330 to 970 mm), suitable for 200 and 1000 litre drums.
  • Support for 2" BSP Drum Mount: It allows quick installation and facilitates drum change, with adjustable orientation in 10 positions.
  • Manual Dispensing Gun: Robust and equipped with a lever lock.
  • 2.5 metre delivery hose: Reinforced and abrasion-resistant.

 

Installation Instructions

  1. Screw in the Drum Support: Start by screwing in the 2" BSP Drum support. This is the first step to ensure that the pump is securely attached to the drum.
  2. Mount the Telescopic Suction Hose: Assemble the suction hose and make sure to tighten it well.
  3. Connect the Suction Hose to the Pump Body: Screw the suction hose to the pump body, ensuring that it is securely attached to prevent leakage.
  4. Extend the Suction Hose: Make sure the hose is fully extended to reach the bottom of the drum.
  5. Positioning the Pump in the Drum: Place the pump inside the drum, matching the support to the attachment point.
  6. Fix the delivery hose: Use one of the supplied clamps to securely fasten the delivery hose to the pump connection..
  7. Install the Dispensing Gun: With the other clamp, secure the gun, making sure it is well connected.
  8. Inspection and Start-up: At this point, the pump is ready to be used. Make sure that all connections are secure before you start transferring fluids.

 

Pump Start-up

  1. Open Dispensing: Before switching on the pump, open the dispensing gun fully to allow the liquid to flow.
  2. Priming the Pump: Use the appropriate lever to prime the pump, preparing it for operation.
  3. Switch on the Pump: As soon as the liquid starts to flow from the nozzle, activate the pump switch to start the transfer.
