The History of Ampla

Ampla’s first 65 years are a testament to passion, innovation, and commitment. From 1960 to today, we have navigated decades of change, facing technological challenges and industry transformations with determination and a shared vision. Our values are rooted in quality, reliability, and a sustainable approach to business. Our history: a journey of growth and innovation

In 1960, Renato Ponzoni and his wife Antonietta founded Ampla (Azienda Materie Plastiche Lavorazioni Affini), laying the foundation for a company destined to become a benchmark in the plastics processing sector. After thirty years of experience in plastic molding, in 1990, the product division was born with the brands Airset and Carbuset, introducing two iconic products to the market: the Airset STANDARD blow gun and the Carbuset AP30L pump.

The evolution of Ampla did not stop, and in the following years, the company expanded its range with the introduction of spiral hoses, the AP25M manual pump, and fluid transfer devices. In 2000, Ampla revolutionized the sector with the launch of Airset TUCANO, a high-performance blow gun featuring an ergonomic and functional design.

The year 2015 marked another milestone with the design of the AP50 manual pump, an innovative product designed for both daily and professional use, reaffirming the company’s commitment to innovation and quality.

In 2018, Ampla took another step forward by acquiring the company Rev Milano, already known in the car care sector, giving rise to Ampla Rev Milano Srl and strengthening its presence in the industry.

In 2021, the second generation of AP40L pumps, a consolidated and distinctive product of Ampla, was introduced, along with the launch of the new AL100 digital turbine flow meter.

The year 2024 marks the launch of the AT240 safety quick coupling and the expansion of the air hose range, introducing linear and self-extinguishing hoses. Ampla also presents its hose and gun kits, designed to pair with the quick coupling.
